What it is
Reorganize current components and styles used in Inspigo App’s UI to raise the reusability and hopefully shorten designer’s delivery time in crafting UI for given projects.
The process
- Start with UI Audit, to acknowledge existing components, styles
- Start categorizing each components and style, and try to merge the similar ones
- Figure out the ‘legacy’ components, and remove the unused from the category
- Get the list of the whole used components
- Group them in one comprehensive file
- IF necessary, WITHOUT changing the look, recreate the components with more structured layers to make consistent look and raise the reusability rate when used by other designers
- Systemize the components to be used broadly within figma
- Create documentation explaining the used components, types, states, do and donts, specs (if change is required)
The next-next step
- reorganize the illustration/icon/non-components system
- recreate existing pattern, blocks, and template
